The poop training
Dr. Phil says you can potty train a child in three days. I wonder how many children died under his care before he found one that learned in three days.
I know someone with a 1 1/2 year old who has decided to start potty training her little boy. She refuses to hear that it "just won't work". Aha!!! It must be Dr. Phil who lead her on this dream/nightmare path.
Thanks- Nelly you are right. I know it will be a long battle. Right now one of our big problem is the speech issues. At two and a half years old we are hoping for too much. We are reading him books and talking up the whole process. I think it will be a long battle-- But, I know deep down when he decides it is time-- The whole process will go quickly. Monster- That is crazy. At one and a half a child does not generally have the control to hold it in. We are trying to make this fun and not a punishment with guilt and all that other crap Andrea- Do you think Phil used shock treatment? Dr. Phil has really hit a note with people. It must be nice to make a fortune on basic psychology and snake oil salesmanship.

Dr Phil is probably right - but just not on three consecutive days. Kids train themselves. We just introduce them to the concept

I assume that Dr. Phil provided his famous tough love by actually locking his children in the bathroom for three days.
