2 months of Chemo

2 months of chemo nearly killed me. I am back to work and sleepy all the time.

I just hope my taste buds come back soon.

Good Night

What each must seek in his life never was on land or sea. It is something out of his own unique potentiality for experience, something that never has been and never could have been experienced by anyone else.

C is for cookie and other things

A flurry of doctor appointments await me. 6 weeks of chemotherapy should start in about a week and a half. Next week I will go to a orientation for the chemotherapy process. The good news in they think this is 95% curable with a 15% chance of coming back later in life. The odds do not seem all that bad.

I will post more later.

(do not worry I have all types of fun observations to discuss about this process)

one more

Tonight the bouncer biker guy is doing double duty.
He asks if he can remove the dead soldiers from our table. I have often referred to empty bottles as dead soldiers, but it seems odd when it comes out of the mouth of a guy that probably has a POW/MIA flag proudly hanging over his couch.

Destiny engineer-

Mquest Jr has been taking Karate classes. It is rather comical to watch the children do their own thing while the teacher attempts to keep control. The teacher does a good job of keeping calm.

The class has given me a great opportunity to take pictures.

I am back

Hello all-
Life is moving quick.

A few weeks ago I broke the camera. I was able to borrow a replacement camera to tide me over. The nice people at cannon have fixed it and they claim it is in the mail. The lesson is that I need to have a back up camera. (enter dream mode)

Guns and Power

Dick Cheney shot and injured a millionaire Texas lawyer. If we can get Dick Cheney to shoot a few more lawyers I just might start to like him.

If we all roll down the windows and crank the air conditioning do you think we can stop global warming?

Spring has many American faces. There are cities where it will come and go in a day and counties where it hangs around and never quite gets there. Summer is drawn blinds in Louisiana, long winds in Wyoming, shade of elms and maples in New England.

Life in Southern California

It is raining ash.
The sky is black.
The hills are dead and burning.
The Bush administration still does not does not believe in global warming.

Is Thanatos a rat? Or is he bull in a china shop?

(steal your face)

The year got off to a strange start when I found out a old acquaintance of mine was killed by mother nature. It seems he was riding his bike down a path he often used when a tree decided to fall over and crush him.

The whole thing seems pretty random and malicious. Was nature lying in wait?

Hey hey, hey, come right away
Come and join the party every day.

Well everybody's dancin' in a ring around the sun
Nobody's finished, we ain't even begun.
So take off your shoes, child, and take off your hat.
Try on your wings and find our where it's at.

Hey hey, hey, come right away
Come and join the party every day.

Take a vacation, fall out for a while,
Summer's comin' in, and it's goin' outta style
-------------honey, have yourself a ball
Cause your mother's down in Memphis, won't be back 'till the fall.

Hey hey, hey, come right away
Come and join the party every day.
