The Cost of War:
I never understood the Coke and Pepsi wars. They always seemed rather lame. Two peddlers of carbonated corn syrup and food coloring trying to outspend each other on advertising conquests. They rush after hot young stars and pay tons for the chance to be associated with them. For their money they get to be linked to disease ridden carriers of Herpes and Gonorrhea. For their effort I get charged a dollar forty for a 20 oz coke at a major discount retailer.
Just like with real wars the people at the bottom rung get stuck with the true costs of war.
On the flip side I really like “Coke with Lime” it is much better than the tasteless “Pepi Lime.”
