Awww...Happy Birthday!!!! This is such a fun age! He'll be speaking in complete sentences soon! (I mean, I know he's speaking in sentences now, but it'll be just like our sentences, with contractions, adverbs, etc.) So fun to hear. I wish I had a tape recorder on 24/7! And I love those railroads. I wanted to get them for my son. Unfortunately, he asked Santa for those darn battery eating GeoTrax!
His speech is picking up greatly. We had our last speech lesson last week. At some point I might blog about his exit exam. (It was funny.) We need to get him into some form of day care/ preschool so he can hang out and communicate with children and be forced to speak the way other children do. He has mastered the two word sentence and is only slightly behind on learning three word sentences.. In other words he is catching up.
The Geo Trax look fun. We are totally immersed in the Thomas culture. Thomas all day everyday.
just in case you're trying to encourage him to go into the amtrack business .. they're not doing so well, and i wouldn't be surprised if amtrack closes shop by the time he's old enough to use the drive-thru.
I think the romance of trains is from a long gone era. I wonder how long trains can remain a romantic notion as they quickly fall into grimy grubby transportation hubs.
