On this day eight years ago I laced up this pair of black monochrome Converse and got married. After eight years the marriage is still going strong and I still wear these shoes to the few formal events that I go to. Happy Anniversary
If one has to wear shoes they should at least be Chucks. With chucks one is in style every eight or so years. I also do not own any leather and find it hard to find formal shoes to wear. The local discount store has vinyl crap that suck.
I have red chucks. It's nicer if they stand out a bit.
In any case, we borrowed this post for a bit, to be read by actors over the radio on "Blogsday," an hour-long collection of posts written over the course of a single day. You can have it back now, but you can listen to the whole program here.
(Open Source is a public radio show, based in Boston and nationally broadcast, that is trying to capture the sound of the web.)
We like how the hour turned out. Let us know what you think.
