Sarcasm by the teaspoon, tablespoon, and shotglass. Social Engineering through words, tainted truth, sarcasm, chaos and cacophony. A pandemonium of pandering, pondering and parading of thoughts and ideas. A soapbox pulpit. in a way, this is such a brilliant commentary on the stereotype of girls and their barbie dolls. i have NEVER seen a kid wash a toy car before .. the next dale earnhardt, perhaps?
Nam Lamore- it is not as bad or as odd as it sounds children love water. This was not a job or a chore it was fun time with water. He had watched me clean off the plastic chairs for his party. I had some extra soap and water and off he went. I am told that lots of parents set up toy/car washes during the summer to keep their children occupied.
What I found odd about the whole thing was the amount of concentration and detail he put into this project. I have a feeling that he will grow up to be detail driven in his projects.
Gurustu- I hope I can get him to help me wash the car. Last time we tried it he kept running off. It was hard (dangerous) washing a car and keeping an eye on him. This summer I think we will be able to do it as long as a remember to spray him with water once every thirty seconds.
This is such a cute picture. Both of my kids insist on helping me wash my car. But you're right, it's because they have so much fun with the water and soap. In fact, when my daughter gets the urge and I'm not washing my car, she'll wash her power wheels Barbie jeep and fill it with gas!
JadedManiac - That sounds so cute. My son loves to open the gas cap on his car and yell into it. It must get good gas mileage we have not need to fill it up yet. I think I will give him the hose and show him how to fill up his tank.

kids+water=natural fit
i remember running bare-footed through brooks and streams in my island-hopping youth.
i need to be more observant .. i've just never, ever seen a kid wash a toy car ever .. if they were washing a car, then it was chore/punishment.
The quickest way to stop a child is turn something into a chore. Chores and work are for later in life
Happy Birthday to Mquest Jr.
Thanks Jack
