Reach for the stars.

The plant on the bottom right caught my eye from a great distance. My best guess is that this succulent wants to broadcast its seeds a great distance by putting the seed pods so high in the air.

i'm not 100% certain, but it looks like one of those 'century plants' that i see all the time on my hikes in the desert. they are just wonderful plants, very majestic. and it's a misnomer, as they can bloom and die while in their 20's.

i do like to look and photograph them, but from a disance. armed with thorns and spikes on their leaves make me nervous, and i stay away from them as if they were tigers.

i'm glad you enjoyed the ladybugs. i had great satisfaction in releasing them.

oh, i hope it's ok that i added you to my blog parade. this is a fun blog to revisit.

I will have to go back and take a look at it. I doubt that it is a century plant. Is was much to small. It was mare like a small aloe. Ohh well-- Nature is trying to do something with it.
