Toddler currency-

A long while ago I wrote about potty training. Nothing happened with it for the longest time. Over the last week much of it has started to click. We put him in cloth underwear (Thomas the tank engine) and let him run free. He did not like the wet feeling and demanded to be changed immediately after urinating. Now he runs to the potty chair and uses it with his underwear still on. He gets a Hot Wheel car every time he uses the potty chair. Today we raised the stakes and he needs to pull down the underwear and urinate to get the prize. It seems to be working. I am sure he is starting to keep a little urine on reserve so he can get more prizes. This potty training thing is starting to cost me about 5 dollars a day. I think we might have to cut back on the prizes.

The whole “Poop” part of the training is a long way off. We are not even sure how to start that process.

The highlight so far was this phrase uttered while on the potty chair: “Look water, See Ducks”
