My opinion-

The G8 world leaders stood shoulder to shoulder and denounced terrorism. For that they are hailed as a bunch of hero's. What else could they of done or said? How does a sound bite for the media turn one into a hero? The publicity whores saw nothing more than a photo opportunity amongst the carnage of the dead.
