Basic Pizza Dough

1 package active dry yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
1 cup warm water
½ teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoons Olive Oil
3 ½ cups flour All purpose (NOT compacted)

In stand mixer with Dough hook attachment.

Add water and Active dry yeast to bowl turn on mixer and slowly add dry ingredients. 1/3 of dry ingredients every 2 min, mix about 6 min

Let rise for at least one hour in lightly oiled bowl

Add topping and cook at 450 for 15-20 min

Or what I am finding works the best-- Cook the dough brushed with olive oil with out toppings on a stone for 10 min. I bake it for another 10 min with the toppings on. All at 400 ----
Then I broil it for one min to get the crust golden. I find the broiling also helps get the cheese to bubble.

Trader Joe's also sells some great dough for about 99 cents.
Also see if you can find Bridgford frozen bread dough in the frozen section.

I have gone through tons of variations and recipes over the years. I find the one on top is the best easy one to use.
