November Second- the litigation circus comes to a voting hall near you!

voter manipulation by oil producing governments?

Look at what has happened to our gas prices in the weeks leading to the election. The price of gas and crude oil has shot up to new highs.
Why?
Is this voter manipulation by oil producing governments?
Who does the oil producing world want to be the next president?
Bush has angered much of the oil producing world. Bush has also helped raise oil profits for all country's that are not called Iraq. Kerry on the other hand seems to like to pick on Saudi Arabia. Are the Oil company's manipulating prices against Bush?
Or is this just a supply and demand issue.

A day in the life of Bush campaigning as the Brawny man-

As the candidates spend the last two days attacking each other and not coming up with their own plans for Americas future . . . (hiring Lawyers does not count) I thought I would take a look at what campaigning looks like.

Step one- Roll up your sleeves and look as if you are ready for hard work-
Step two- Attack your rival (act macho)
Step three- Smirk (act macho)
Step four- Eat- (it takes a lot of calories to smirk all the time)
Step five- Get back on the bus and wait for the next stop on the campaign trail.

Osama

Mr Bush that was pretty tricky-- Pull Osama bin Laden out of his cell-- film him and pretend that it is a new Video.

Gwen Stefani mall tour coming soon-

I have heard the new Gwen Stefani song a million times by now. Who knew 80's mall rock would become so big 20 years later.
To support this album will she have to do a tour of American malls? Will she headline a tour with Debbie Gibson and Tiffany?

If it is not filling has no taste or vitamins why eat it?

The two idiots only have a few more days to make their case for being elected the next president.

What are they talking about?
No substance in their statements.

Next election we must demand more from our candidates.

Election Choice
Diplomacy or the Bully?

At mquest Blog our quack crack staff decided to have a few stouts and scientifically look at past elections and see who the winner of this election would be. Our faulty memories
came up with 2 over hyped macho bully personality's that had recently been elected because of their Hollywood driven masculine bully hype.

J. Ventura
Arnold S.

We were not sure what to do with this info so we plugged it into our formula and the on site statistical girl decided that George would win.

America likes a over hyped bully.

(Disclaimer- our poll has a 50% margin of error.)

Bruce Springsteen

With all the campaigning that Bruce Springsteen has been doing I wonder how many votes for president Bruce will be getting.

Daschle in Tough, Costly Election Fight

Daschle and Republican John Thune had spent $26.3 million, more than $50 apiece for each of the state's 502,000 registered voters, as of mid-October. That doesn't include the millions of dollars being spent by outside groups, most of them opposed to Daschle.

This goes to prove that being in politics is only for the rich. If I want to grow up to be the President I will have to take a position on the local city council and save all my shakedown and bribe money for at least 50 years to be able to make a serious attempt at the Presidency

Ohio GOP Loses Bid to Fight Registrations

They tell you it is your civic duty to vote and then they do anything in their power to stop you from doing so. Some of these people need to spend the next four years in Jail.

Don't mess with my connection to the world-

Has anyone noticed how much the Internet has sucked in the last week? All pages are slow.
Lots of maintenance, down time and other Chaos. I am starting to think that there is a massive attempt to slow down and stop the Internet right before the elections.

Drownings haunt Wis. college town

Like others, Kellie Halfen, a classmate of Dion's, believes that a serial killer is stalking young men in downtown bars, luring them three blocks to Riverside Park and pushing them into the deep water. "There's too much going on for it just to be coincidence," says Halfen, an art education major from Somerset

Maybe a killer pink elephant is on the loose.

Alcohol is to blame not a serial killer!

(imaginary) rumor

I heard a (imaginary) rumor that if Kerry wins Bush and friends will have John McCain shot. Why? Because of his campaign finance law. I have news for them it was not the campaign finance law that doomed them. It was the idiot in the White House that doomed the presidency.

Update: See what the "right" is saying about McCain.

How Bush is handled ( fry the testicles— remotely)

The above link allegedly proves that Bush wore a device during debate. Up to this point much speculation has revolved around the fact that an off site handler suppled Bush with answers during the debate. The MQUEST THINK TANK has come up with a better solution.

After much testing on prisoners- Halliburton Co has designed a mini cattle prod that they can use to remotely fry the testicles of anyone that does not follow the Halliburton agenda. That was what the black box was. Think about it.
(Thats why Bush kept blinking, jumping, twitching and turning red.)

Pledge your allegiance to Halliburton before they come for your Testicles.

Woman Allegedly Steals Boyfriend's Ashes

Sheriff's deputies have arrested a woman for digging up her dead boyfriend's ashes from a Columbia County cemetery more than 10 years ago and drinking the beer that was buried with him, possibly out of spite for his family.
Steeling ashes is one thing. But, steeling a dead mans beer is wrong. Is nothing sacred?

West Boynton man allegedly threatens to kill girlfriend for backing Kerry

The sky is NOT falling--- yet

Do not let the Bush and Kerry camps fool you. The world will not end on November 3rd.

Liar liar Bush on Fire- (AKA bad poker face).

Pinocchio had his nose.
Bush has his smirk and blinking eyes.
Does Kerry have any of these tell-tell traits?

Whore for cash

Do you think that the Disney company can get a contract with Bush and Kerry for the winner of the election to do a commercial with the line: “Now that I have bought the presidency-- I am going to Disneyland”?

What other commercial endorsements can the loser do?

Kerry- “To sleep with my wife I need Viagra.”
Bush- “Coke is It.”

What else?

'Hobbit' joins human family tree

Scientists have discovered a new and tiny species of human that lived in Indonesia at the same time our own ancestors were colonising the world.
The three-foot (one-metre) tall species - dubbed "the Hobbit" - lived on Flores island until at least 12,000 years ago.

Wow.

Breaking Election News

Voting and the Electoral College has been made into a complete joke. In its place a group of highly paid lawyers will decide the election for you. Don't panic. Campaign finance laws are not set up for this. Donate money freely to your favorite law firm and your voice will be heard. Your donation is urgent. Texas Judge Has Party, Sentences Fugitive

Before he was brought into the courtroom on Monday, the judge directed staff members as they placed balloons and streamers around the courtroom. A colorful cake was decorated with his name and one candle to signify the year he spent on the lam.

This is funny.
And at the same time-
This is a unprofessional act by a judge.
I think he should be punished.
They should bring in a military prison guard to give him some special treatment.

Help build a regime-

With Iraq out of the oil picture, It is nice to know that oil money is flowing freely to other governments that we have branded as anti-American pro- terrorist states.

I wonder how much money Iran has brought in because of the war. Enough to weather more economic sanctions? Enough to rebuild after a military strike?

Garcia Marquez Has Last Laugh on Book Pirates

Bush Receives Endorsement From Iran

"Democrats usually insist on human rights and they will have more excuses to pressure Iran."
Let me rephrase that statement from Iran. “Bush and republicans do not care about human rights. With a Republican like Bush in office we can do whatever we want to our people.

"The experience of two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the responsibility Bush had, will make it a very remote possibility for him to risk attacking a much bigger and more powerful country like Iran," he said.

One of our main targets of the “Axis Of Evil”is not afraid of Bush. They think we are to spread out as a military to take on another target. They may have a point. I am not sure the UN or the American public will accept another war.

But, do they underestimate Bush? Will Bush will buy another coalition of the willing? (He has unlimited money to do so). Will he gain more troops by starting a draft. Will he wave his magic wand and by presidential decree turn all current 4 year enlistments into 8 year enlistments? Will god whisper into his ear and tell him to drop a nuclear bomb in Iran?

Florida voting count rules

* The state set new rules for recounting touch-screen ballots in the event of a close election, angering voter rights groups who said they were left out of the decision-making process. Under the rules, county elections officials will be asked to review ballot images to make sure the number of so-called undervotes, those on which no candidate was chosen, matches the machine's totals. If a discrepancy remains after the machines are checked, elections officials are told to trust the machine count

Help. Does this make sense? Why recount if the machine is always considered correct? “If a discrepancy remains after the machines are checked, elections officials are told to trust the machine count”. I am missing the logic.

Hardline Iranian militia wants observers at US election

I like the wording of this statement:
"By this symbolic request, we want to ridicule the so-called democratic slogans of the American leaders," a Basij official, Said Toutunshian, told the Iran newspaper.

With all the voting problems popping up already-- I wonder what they would find? I am sure that their propaganda machine would have fun watching our elections.

Draft and foul smelling air

And I say what is the best way to avoid the hot foul smelling air coming out of these two idiots.

Arresting negotiators

I did not post on this topic over the weekend because, I was waiting for more information. I am still in the dark of the whole what and why. So here we go.

Over the weekend US forces arrested a negotiator in Iraq.

Why would you arrest a negotiator?
(By default the person you are negotiating with is your enemy)
Why would you arrest a negotiator then release him?

Did we place a tracking chip in him so we can track him and blow up the city block around him?

Arresting negotiators can not be helpful in creating a truce. What was the logic?

GIs Who Refused Job Had Unarmored Trucks

I have never been in the military or know nothing about military law. But, reading todays (not yesterdays) accounts about what happened with this unit I wonder if they have a chance. Everyone that watched the debates or can read a paper knows that trucks are still unarmored in Iraq. Other soldiers across Iraq have the same problems because of poor war planing by military leaders. (we knew this prior to the war). The only real issue that I see is the issue of claims by some of the soldiers that the fuel they were to deliver was contaminated. In the above article this issue was buried at the end.

Military officials have admitted that all of the soldiers story's are correct accept the part about the contaminated fuel.. If the fuel is not contaminated then they (in my opinion) have no leg to stand on

Attention Las Vegas Voters!--Why Bush will win. More voter fraud.

Thanks Verbatim for pointing this out. News report
Employees of a private voter registration company allege that hundreds, perhaps thousands, of voters who may think they are registered will be rudely surprised on election day. The company claims hundreds of registration forms were thrown in the trash....

The I-Team has obtained information about an alleged widespread pattern of potential registration fraud aimed at democrats. The focus of the story is a private registration company called Voters Outreach of America, AKA America Votes....
Two former workers say they personally witnessed company supervisors rip up and trash registration forms signed by Democrats.... Eric Russell, former Voters Outreach employee, managed to retrieve a pile of shredded paperwork including signed voter registration forms, all from Democrats. We took them to the Clark County Election Department and confirmed that they had not, in fact, been filed with the county as required by law....
We attempted to speak to Voters Outreach but found that its office has been rented out to someone else. The landlord says Voters Outreach was evicted for non-payment of rent. Another source said the company has now moved on to Oregon where it is once again registering voters....

The company has been largely, if not entirely funded, by the Republican National Committee. Similar complaints have been received in Reno where the registrar has asked the FBI to investigate.

Encyclopedia Brown

Does any of my readers remember the children's book series Encyclopedia Brown?

Encyclopedia Brown was a child detective that solved mysteries. Each mystery was only a few pages long. The other weekend I found an old copy at a used book sale. I read the entire book and only solved 2 of the mystery's. I can not believe how hard it was.

I am having a hard time believing that I enjoyed these as a child.

Has anyone gone back and reread any of these books? Do children still find delight in these?

The Parable of the Grasshopper and the Dog

The other day while I was at work my wife and son came across a grasshopper.
My wife pointed it out and my son was enthralled by the grasshopper. He tried to touch it but, it just jumped away.

My dog jumped up and swatted it to the ground.

I am told that the grasshopper made a loud crunching sound under the dogs feet.
My son had a brief look at the smashed grasshopper before the dog ate it. If my son was a little older we would have had a lot of explaining to do.

Last nights dream

Last night I had a fun dream.
In my dream I was watching the 3rd and final presidential debate. At the beginning of the debate the moderator stated that due to the fear of F.C.C fines combined with the post Janet Jackson Super Bowl fines- - They had decided to put a 10 second delay on the debate. The narrator explained that because of the mental imbalance of Bush and Kerry they were afraid that the debate would contain tons of foul language. The networks were afraid that the F.C.C would fine them for every infraction.

Once the debate started George Bush's off-site handlers were unable to whisper the answers into Bush's ears because of the time delay.

Bush without people telling him what to say was hilarious. Everyone was laughing at him. He looked like a deer caught in the headlights of a fast approaching car. Bush was sweating and turning a nasty shade of read.. He was blabbering and threating to take over the networks. He was calling for martial law. He called for a 9/11 attack on New York.

Kerry just sat there with his hands on his lap. Kerry smiled and sat silently.

I woke up at this point.
I must stop watching debates before I go to bed.

There has been much speculation about Bush getting his answers suppled from an off- site handler. See: Was Bush Wired?

This proves that you are what you eat

Eric Voice

Dr. Eric Voice, a nuclear physicist who was often described as the most radioactive man on the planet, died over the Sept. 11th weekend of motor neuron disease. He was 80.

To examine the effects of radioactivity on the body, Voice volunteered to be a human guinea pig. In 1992, he and Dr. Don Newton were given a series of plutonium injections. The results of the trials showed that in men, plutonium generally accumulated in the liver and not in the bones or reproductive organs (as was previously believed).

Over the next five years, Voice and 11 others did further experiments, each inhaling the type of plutonium isotopes found in nuclear reactors. In 1999, the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) declared that all of the subjects had remained healthy. A strong advocate of nuclear power, Voice dismissed fears about the health risks of plutonium as "media hype."

Born in London, Voice studied at the Goudhurst School in Kent. At 15, he became a research chemist with Boots, a company that sells health and beauty products. Voice joined the UKAEA as a research biochemist after World War II and later earned a degree in English and a doctorate in physics. One of the first western scientists to visit Chernobyl after the 1986 nuclear explosion, Voice made several visits to the Ukraine to research the effects of the accident on local plant and animal life.

Although he claimed plutonium had no adverse effects on his health, Voice's remains could not be cremated. Instead he was buried in a lead-lined coffin.

Innocence is pure bliss

The other night during our evening walk we came across three things that drive my son into pure bliss. We say a police car, a firetruck and an ambulance. My little worshiper of rescue vehicles could not contain his happiness. He pointed, jumped, bounced and squealed in delight. Whatever sad event had brought the rescue vehicles to this house was of no concern to him.

Do the Donkeys and Elephants need to go to such lengths to explain to me what I heard in the debates? It is one thing to go into such detail about what was said by your own party. Cheney and Edwards Have Met Before

It was part of last nights biggest melodramatic moment and it turned out to be a lie.

Mquest Factcheck.org Quiz

Factcheck.org is down. It failed right when it hit its moment of glory.
Please bookmark it and return at a later date.

Why did factcheck.org Site fail?

A. The GOP started a denial of service attack against the site to keep the truth out.

B. People actually care and are searching for the fact about this election. Thus causing the site to fail.

C.Crappy servers.

D. A terrorist coalition from Iran, Iraq, and North Korea with financial support from the Saudi government are trying to keep America from being informed. (Backed by CIA)

E. None of the above. Please explain.

90% of the Casualties- A look at the Dick Cheney school of math

Cheney suggested that we all check out factcheck.com in a odd twist of fate he got the URL wrong and gave the word the link to a George Soros web page. The web page he wanted us to go to was factcheck.org. Thanks Cheney. That site has all types of facts on last nights debate. The fact that I was waiting for was there. What follows is the section on the 90% Casualties rate question raised last night. (Fact check.org also has a text in the side bar of the debate.)

90% of the Casualties

Cheney disputed Edwards's statement -- often repeated by Kerry -- that US forces have suffered "90% of the coalition casualties" in Iraq, saying that in fact Iraqi security forces "have taken almost 50 percent" of the casualties.

Both men have a point here, but Edwards is closer to the mark.

Edwards is correct counting only "coalition" forces -- those of the US, Britain and the other countries that took part in the invasion and occupation of Iraq. According to CNN.com, which keeps an updated list, 1,066 US service men and women had died from hostile action and other causes during the Iraq operation as of Oct. 5, of a total 1,205 for all coalition countries. That's just over 88% of the coalition deaths.

We know of no accurate count of deaths suffered by Iraqi security forces, but an estimate reported both by the Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post puts the figure at 750. Lumping those estimated Iraqi deaths with fatalities suffered by coalition forces produces a total of 1,955. Of that, the estimated Iraqi portion is 38% (not "almost 50%" as Cheney claimed) and the US total amounts to 55%

VP Debate “what is wrong with a little flip flop now and then”

I just finished watching the VP debate. A few thoughts before I catch any of the commentary from others.

Perhaps it is because I watched the V.P. Debate on a blurry black and white television.
But I thought Cheney looked like a skull- He was the personification of death. I must admit that the talking skull is a good public speaker. Forked tongue and all. Dick really needs to climb out of the bunker more often and get some sun.

What is the cost of the war? Cheney's math was rather interesting. It seems as if it would be rather easy to find fault in his equation. I wonder how this will play out in the media over the next 24 hours.

Edwards only spoke about Kerry. Never about himself.

Tonights debate was only about civilized name calling. Next time I hear the word inaccuracies I will kill a kitten. OK, I wont kill a kitten but I might throw up.

The whole Cheney coalition casualty count was so unreal. Do Iraq's fighters fit into the coalition numbers like Dick suggests? I think Dick found a novel way to twist terminology and percentages. Some how he got the 90% number down to 50%. How will this play in tomorrows media?

Edwards repeats himself often.

Edwards has the lamest non thumbs up thumbs up hand gesture.

Are the Saudis to the democrats like Iraq is to the Republicans?

Edwards did not even try to defend himself against his absences from voting. Why?

Edwards lips and mouth are not in sync with the words coming out of his mouth.

Upon further thought I still think Dick looks like death personified.

They both picked on lawyers How can one go wrong picking on a lawyer?

At first Dicks elbows planted on the table with his hunched back really bothered me. But, by the end of the debate I realized that it was a smart move. They anchored him in a single place. Edwards moved way to much. I was starting to get sea sick.

We should call the talking skull slick dick.

On the topic of aids why did John not attack Bush on his unwillingness to supply condoms to third world country's?

Dick comes off perfectly as the elder statesmen. Edwards at a few moments reminded me of John Ritter.

The quote of the night came from our nice moderator. “what is wrong with a little flip flop now and then”

The problem with John Kerry-

Mr. Kerry has not shown himself to be likable. He is not the type of person one wants to waste the next month campaigning for. Listening to him speak does not give one the desire to take time off work and volunteer for his bid to become president.

For more on this topic Barlow puts it better.

How the White House Embraced Disputed Arms Intelligence

The aluminum tubes are back in the news. Let us get this straight-- the war on Iraq was based on lies. But, we knew this before the war even started. The aluminum tubes in the news today are not the uncovering of new evidence. All the media organizations told us it was a lie long ago. WMD, The report, the cost of the war and everything else was a lie. We knew it before the war.

Yes, we were lied to. But, we knew. We still know. Stop pretending . . .

Rocket Wins $10M Prize for Trip to Space

The X prize has been won. What is next?

You know you are ugly if they will not hang your picture in public. Nixon portraits not welcome in Norwegian parliament

In related news Bush has added the Norwegian government to the axis of evil.

A modest proposal for election reform.

We should add “None of the Above”to the ballot, If none of the above wins the election a new election process will start with the loser not being able to run. Perhaps by the 5th time none of the above wins the two candidates will start to reflect what the country wants. The special interest money would decrease with each election and the people will regain power over the government.

Best of all we would be able to vote for the best candidate and not the lesser of two evils.

My son the logo lover

At every retail establishment or restaurant we go to my happy little two year old must stop at the door and point at his favorite corporate logos. Visa and Mastercard. I can not figure out his love of these two logos. It excites him just to see those two stickers. I think he loves them because they are at his eye level. Life for a two year old is an adventure. Every door that he goes through that have that logo is a land full of wonder and fun.

Mquest word pick of the day

Profile Page

My profile page has been getting a few hits. I think some people may be using it as an entry to my blog, The problem is that the profile page seems to always be a few days off. It list my recent posts as posts that happened 4 days ago. Do others have this problem?

Is there any info that you want added to the Mquest profile page? I am open to any suggestions. At least I will read them. If I follow through is another story all together.

How is Luke Doing?

The above link is for a Blog that deals with the slow recovery of a young child that drowned a little over a month ago. This site brings out some of my worst fears. I hope Luke will end up having a wonderful life.

FIREFOX

I just upgraded to the new version of FIREFOX. I lost all my bookmarks. It is a relief to get rid off all the excess bookmarks that I had floating around. But, I am rather pissed that I need to go and re-login to so many sites. I had also been bookmarking pages where I had left comments-- Now I will have to use all my mental powers to remember where I left comments. So I can go back and follow the threads of conversation. Oh- Well.

FIREFOX still rocks

It is the most amazing sight when you witness children feeding off the energy of other children.

The brush off

I have this brush that I use for cooking. I mostly use if for brushing oil onto breads and pizza doughs. Sometimes I use it to brush an egg mixture on the dough before cooking bread. It is an handy tool. The problem is that I am always afraid that I did not clean it well enough. I am always afraid that something dangerous is living and growing between the synthetic strands of the brush. Is putting it into the dishwasher enough? Should I slosh it through a cup filled with dish washing soap?

MOUNT ST. HELENS --Fire on the mountain

In honor of the so far wimpy eruption of MOUNT ST. HELENS I am posting the lyrics to the Grateful Dead's song Fire On the Mountain:

Long distance runner, what you standing there for?
Get up, get off, get out of the door

You played cold music on the barroom floor
drown in your laughter and dead to the core.

There's a dragon with matches that's loose on the town
take a whole pail of water just to cool him down.

Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!

Almost ablaze still you don't feel the heat
it takes all you got just to stay on the beat.

You say it's a living, we all gotta eat
but you're here alone, there's no one to compete.

If mercy's a business, I wish it for you
more than just ashes when your dreams come true.

Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!

Long distance runner, what you holding out for?
caught in slow motion in a dash for the door.

The flame from your stage has now spread to the floor
you gave all you had, why you wanna give more?

The more that you give, the more it will take
to the thin line beyond which you really can't fake.

Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!
Fire! Fire on the mountain!

They are back

Yesterday- we all took a trip down to the park. The side of the swing set had 2 relics from my childhood. Garbage Pail Kids. They were stuck right on the bar of the swing set. . My mind was quickly taken back to my childhood. I loved buying those cards. I must of spent a small fortune on those cards. Now it looks as if they are coming back in style.

I am happy that sarcasm, parody and a sick sense of humor are still being marked to our children.

Lawmaker expresses "dismay" that White House allegedly wrote Allawi speech

We should all know by now that government officials do not write their own speeches. But, can it be true that the White House allegedly wrote a large portion of Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's speech to Congress last week . I guess the Americas puppet did not give us a fair view of the conditions in IRAQ.

Note: California Senator Dianne Feinstein usually does a great job of charging into things without thinking. I think she likes to be the first one to be quoted so she can move on to her next 3 second passion
