And the lord of the ducks tossed sand on the water:
Every time a group of ducks swam by they would get excited thinking someone was tossing bread to them. When they discovered it was only sand they would swim off and a new group would race over. It was a vicious cycle.
Ducks and Geese can be crazy. I once saw an old lady knocked over and her bread bag ripped out of her hand. I am surprised that there are no support groups for children and their fear of ducks and geese. Why do clowns get a corner on the fear market?
My mom has an old home movie of a three-year-old me chasing after a duck at a park with a chunk of bread. I chase him right out of the frame. Two seconds later I come back into the frame, screaming my head off, a dozen hungry fowls chasing me!
It's better than having actual bread and your son freaking out because he's being swarmed...
